After a chance meeting between two hobby cider makers in 2015, and a couple of years of geeking out together, Eric and Martin joined forces to create Abandoned Hard Cider. Those first ciders from Martin's old abandoned trees from his 100-acre property were the foundation of the Abandoned Hard Cider vision. After many conversations and tastings, Eric and Martin went to work building the foundation of what is now the first Farm Cidery in the Sullivan County Catskills. In 2017 with a license in hand we went to work harvesting and pressing our first vintage.
